The Early Years

Shad Hansen was born in Montana where he spent 12 years of his life. His father's work moved the family to Wyoming where Shad attended Jr. and Sr. high school before going back to Montana for college. From Montana it was back to Wyoming for another year and then onto Dallas for the next ten years starting his career in the field of Information Technology. It was in Texas at his job where he met his wife Jill, she said "yes" to playing for the company softball team that Shad coached, and the rest is history.

Today

Now residing in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, with Jill and his daughters Kaylee and Taylor, Shad spends many of his weekends with his family at the cabin or somewhere in the Colorado mountains photographing all of the natural beauty that may appear. Sunday mornings are usually spent with his mentor in photography, Rick Heitman, driving all over the Colorado area photographing anything of interest.
